LANCASTER – A Palmdale man accused of raping a 10-year-old girl at an Antelope Valley Mall movie theater was charged Wednesday with five felonies, including rape, kidnapping and sexual assault. Marque Clark, 31, made his first court appearance Wednesday in Antelope Valley Superior Court, but the arraignment hearing at which he is formally told of the charges against him and enters a plea was put off until Oct.4. Bail was set at $5million, Los Angeles County district attorney spokeswoman Jane Robison said. The girl was raped Aug.29 after she was accosted in a movie theater hallway and forced into an empty theater, deputies said.
